“Erste Hilfe bei Unfällen (First aid in case of accidents)
Society is a complex organism where the state functions as vital anatomy.
Erasing historical memory or marginalizing ethnic groups is akin to organ amputation, leading to systemic self-destruction and deep-seated intolerance.
Through the project “Erste Hilfe bei Unfällen (First aid in case of accidents),” I examine Marburg’s Jewish history since the 12th century using archival materials and contemporary approach.
By confronting unspoken truths and hidden fears, this work seeks to build a future social architecture rooted in local experience, answering the fundamental question of how to coexist with those unlike ourselves.
The painting is a triptych and is part of the project “Erste Hilfe bei Unfällen (First aid in case of accidents)”
