The Sky is over…!
Since 2021, the situation around Ukraine became increasingly tense and explosive, leading to an all-out war with numerous casualties among both military and civilians.
In exploring the emerging situation, I focused on creating 3D objects and paintings which demonstrate different fragments of the overall social construction within the situation under consideration.
Moreover, this painting embodies the conflict between the digital grid and the organic fluidity of an ongoing armed conflict.
The pixelated background symbolizes the fragmentation of reality into data, while swirling forms deconstruct the canvas surface into living memory.
By aestheticizing digital errors and the disintegration of structures, harmony in a fragmented world is analyzed, attempting to renew our traumatized perceptions through the prism of a “future” past, while observing the tragic events unfolding in the present moment.
