Like in a kaleidoscope, The pictures are changing in my life. So, old age time has come…
Today, my mind holds more questions than answers. Beyond the enumeration of techniques and recurring themes, I have arrived at a singular, vital realization: any artificially imposed boundary whether social, traditional, or rooted in a specific mentality functions as a cage for the artist, obstructing the gaze into the creative vacuum. I believe that only the desire to achieve the unattainable can shape and validate a future vision, regardless of the inherent risks involved.
In this project, I analyzed the pivotal elements of my life, translating them into the level of sensations derived from physical artifacts. Utilizing audio and video captured through a microscope, I documented the current biological processes within my own body.
This fixation of the “now” serves as an attempt to peer into a future reality.
The central components are sculptural objects crafted from granite, featuring a series of engraved or projected images on their surfaces. This juxtaposition of fleeting biological duration and the geological permanence of stone creates a dialogue between the internal microcosm and the external monumentality of existence.
The project was realized as a transdisciplinary collaboration involving microbiological research and an audio-video installation.
