The world has changed in the twenty-first century and much that we have gained from the twentieth century today is losing its historical existence, determined by a naive belief in Western civilization and the exclusivity of the neoliberal model of society and the processes of globalization. The current situation in Germany is determined by the accelerating changes in the regular order. The stability that has been built for many decades begins to change its internal contours. This concerns both economic and political elements of the state structure, as well as elements of social architecture inside German society.

To see the present sometimes it is necessary to look beyond the image, which we see in front of us. Exactly the hidden changes are dominant and formative, but they do not always manifest themselves actively, and have an invisible form of representation, leaving only a faint trace on the visible part of the image.

In order to be able to understand what is happening, and most importantly, what would determine the future vector of development of the emerging situation, it is necessary to analyze what was yesterday and try to understand which parts of the mosaic can reveal the key points of the general scenario.

In the project “Gray ability” I do not propose to seek a way out from the formed situation. I propose to seek an adequate solution for today, as well as to think about the degree of individual responsibility, in front of people who will live tomorrow.
