The Farewell Symphony

In our existence includes a mechanism, which forms the basic goal setting in our life. We are talking about the inevitable processes related to our finding in various states, such as space and time. With space and time, usually, we associate physical boundaries but should be noted that an important feature of the space and time of these categories exist due to the movement of the physical body.

During my artistic research, I have searched answers to the following questions:                                        What occurs at that moment when the physical body goes into another form of representation?                    What happens with people when they finished this life?                                                                            What remains in the consciousness of people who have been close to them?                                              How to characterize the peculiarity of our thinking, which involves such an integral and important element of human memory?

The above-mentioned idea is based on the story about the Jewish cemetery which remains from the Jewish community in the city of Reggio Emilia.                                                                                                    After certain events, the entire Jewish community left the city. However, they have forsaken the most beautiful cemetery in the city, which is working until the present day.

The project was implemented in the form of sound installation.
